Final Reflection
Overall this semester I have learned about assistive technology. I did not realize that there was so much already on the computer to help people with their needs. I always thought you have to download some expensive software. I also learned more about google and all the stuff that comes with it. For example we used google docs to make a presentation, we used to good sites to create a website and of course blogger to create our own blog. I already knew how to work Windows Movie Maker, Powerpoint, Web tools, Concept mapping, and about plagiarism software. However when coming to concept mapping, Inspiration was new to me. I liked it, it was easy to use and will most likely use it in the future. My strong point of the class are of course the stuff that I feel comfortable using: powerpoint, web tools, etc. My weak points would be all the google stuff because it was all somewhat new to me. I think that using google more often will help me in my weakness. The only time I really used google was as a search engine but it definitely has more to offer than just that. I will use technology in my classroom by having a website to inform parents, using web tools to create tests and rubrics, I will allow my students to play games on the computers, use movie maker to create movies consisting of pictures from throughout the school year (of course with parents consent).

Assistive Technology
This week in class we were to complete an activity so that a variety of students can be taught. For instance we learned different ways to change stuff on the computer for visually impaired students, students with hearing deficiencies, etc. I had a couple problems with this assignment, I know what the assistive technology was suppose to do but on some of mine it didnt do it. For example, when it was suppose to flash, mine never did. When it was suppose to make a sound, my laptop made the sound but my desktop did not.
